Description
This Preparser generates several records with "STX/END" envelopes (corresponds to "UNB/UNZ" in EDIFACT) from multiple Tradacoms messages in one file ("MDH/MTR" segments; corresponds to "UNH/UNT" in EDIFACT). This allows the Tradacoms parser (see EDIFACT) to properly handle such a file.
No configuration necessary.
Optional intermediate phase before Phase 2. A preparser manipulates input data before the parser processes it; for example, to remove special characters or convert an unknown format to a supported one.
International EDI standard established by the UN for electronic data interchange. EDIFACT defines message types such as ORDERS, INVOICE, and DESADV.
A British EDI standard, which is mainly used in the UK retail sector. Tradacoms is the forerunner of EDIFACT in the UK market and is still used by many trading partners there despite its age and obsolescence.
