Validated deployment targets

Prev Next

A validated deployment target is a cloud infrastructure provider for which Lobster has verified that a private cloud deployment of the Lobster Data Platform works. For each provider listed here, Lobster has performed a manual test installation, executed a standard set of smoke and functional tests, and documented the results in a validation report.

Validation is a one-time check tied to a specific platform version. It confirms that the Lobster Data Platform can be installed and operated on the provider. It does not include performance benchmarks, security audits, or a production readiness assessment. A validation is renewed when a major platform update with infrastructure-relevant changes is released, or at the latest every 12 to 18 months.

Each validation report describes the environment, the platform version used, the test results, and any known limitations or provider-specific constraints. Customers run and operate the platform in their own provider account or tenant. Lobster provides product-level support per the standard support terms. Infrastructure incidents in the customer's provider environment are handled by the provider.
