Release notes - Lobster Data Platform 26.3.8

Release date: 2026-10-07

New Features & Improvements

LDP-9179

Updated internal server runtime components to enhance platform stability and resolve known security advisories.

Bug fixes

LDP-9134

Bridge database connections ("Via Bridge – standard"): Large results with wide rows or BLOB/CLOB values are now read reliably. The error Buffering capacity 2097152 exceeded no longer occurs, and the fetch size no longer needs to be tuned. BLOB/CLOB values can now also be written, including in batches, and database errors are reported with their original message.

LDP-9125

Style Designer: The token selection list in the expert settings is no longer empty.

LDP-9119

OFTP/Communication Channels: Partner certificates in OFTP channels can now be replaced without affecting subsequent TLS connections. Previously, replacing an existing partner certificate could cause these connections to fail.

LDP-9115

The Trading Partner Manager (TPM) internal system user is now hidden from the user overview. The TPM role is now visible (read-only), and unnecessary permissions (Basic Plugins) have been removed from it.

LDP-9074

The icon of the Platform Portal menu item is now displayed correctly in the Module selector.

LDP-9061

IDoc templates loaded via file structure analysis now include their variables. Previously, they were loaded without variables, which led to mapping errors.

LDP-9046

The thread that generates the SQL schema for Pathfinder now shuts down correctly.

LDP-8991

The emergency license can now be created correctly on Windows 11. Previously, a Windows 11 update caused problems when creating the emergency license, which could leave systems shut down if a problem occurred during the license check.
