Changed settings on the Node Controller for AMQP connections, MQTT, Kafka and log pools are passed on to connected Working Nodes at runtime. Working Nodes that are not logged in, receive the changed settings after the next login at the Node Controller.
Controlling server in Lobster's optional Load Balancing module. The Node Controller distributes incoming tasks across several additional servers (Working Nodes) and coordinates them. The module is operated only through it; some tasks run only on it, and a DMZ server must point to the Node Controller.
A lightweight publish-subscribe protocol for IoT and machine-to-machine communication. MQTT transmits messages via topics and is optimized for environments with low bandwidth or unstable connections.
A distributed streaming platform for reliable, high-volume data exchange. Kafka stores news in topics and decouples producers from consumers. Available in the Lobster Data Platform as an input agent and response.
