With Lobster ID you sign in to all connected Lobster services with a single user account. You create the account once and use the same credentials everywhere, instead of managing separate sign-in details for each service. Your personal data is maintained in one place.
Before You Start
You can create a user account yourself. The account is active immediately after registration, but you are not signed in automatically: you sign in once afterwards.
To use the services, your account also needs to be assigned to your company's group. With self-registration this currently does not happen automatically. Contact the Lobster ID company admin at your company to have it done.
Your Lobster ID Company Admin
At your company, one or more people manage access to Lobster ID themselves: the Lobster ID company admins. They are your first point of contact for anything to do with accounts and permissions.
Your company admin
adds new colleagues and assigns them to your company,
grants and changes the permissions for the individual Lobster services,
withdraws access when someone leaves the company,
reviews requests from your company and, where needed, raises them as a ticket with Lobster support.
Contact Lobster support directly when there is a technical problem, for example when a service cannot be reached or a function does not work as described. Anything concerning accounts, assignments and permissions goes to your company admin first.

Only customers who run their Lobster Data Platform in Lobster Cloud hosting can sign in to the Lobster Cloud Platform Portal.
How to Reach the Sign-In Page
Lobster ID has no sign-in address of its own that you can open directly. Open the service you want to use, for example the support portal. As long as you are not signed in, the service redirects you to the Lobster ID sign-in page. Once you have signed in successfully, you are taken back automatically.
You sign in with your email address and your password. The language of the sign-in page follows the language setting of your browser.
